The Glendale College Vaqueros jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in a 17–4 win over Chaffey on Friday, scoring six runs in the first inning to set the tone.

Mike Bang powered the offense, finishing 2-for-3 with a double, a three-run home run, and four RBIs. David Lozano added three RBIs on a pair of doubles, while Charlie Carafotes went 3-for-6 with two RBIs. At the top of the order, Jackson Lyons collected three hits, scored four runs, and stole three bases.

Glendale continued to add on with a three-run fourth inning and aggressive baserunning throughout, swiping nine total bases. Miguel Villegas contributed a two-run double, and Blake Demman scored twice and drove in a run.

On the mound, John Trainor earned the win, allowing just one earned run over four innings. Cris Banuelos struck out seven across four strong relief innings before Conner Cafferty closed it out.
