In one of their toughest battles of the season, the Glendale Vaqueros fell just short in overtime, dropping a 93–89 road heartbreaker to Chaffey. Glendale erased a 10-point halftime deficit with a 45-point second half but couldn't complete the comeback in the extra period.
Omree Bentov delivered a monster performance, finishing with 18 points and a career-high 16 rebounds, controlling the glass and hitting all six of his free throws. Hunter Smith stayed hot from deep, knocking down six threes for 20 points, while Brandon Blair flirted with a triple-double, posting 19 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds in a standout all-around effort.
Isaac Vergara added 6 points and 4 rebounds off the bench, and Georges Abdulnour gave Glendale a big lift with 9 points on efficient shooting.
The Vaqueros dominated the boards (47–36) and shot an impressive 82.6% at the line, but Chaffey's 51.6% field-goal shooting ultimately proved the difference. Despite the loss, Glendale showed resilience and firepower as they continue a challenging non-conference stretch.
