Allen begins his third year with the Glendale College Men’s Basketball program.  Coach Mkrtychyan will be a valued part of the coaching staff, responsible for post-player skill work and defensive development. Before arriving to Glendale, he was an assistant under Coach Craig Moody at Columbia Christian High School, winning a state title in 2013.  Allen attended West Hills College, where he played for Coach Mark Arce, before transferring to Hawaii Pacific University and playing for the Sea Warriors.  Originally from Moscow, Russia, coach Mkrtychyan played for the Dinamo Moscow region team in 2004-05. Allen is a graduate of both the Russian State University, earning a degree in Physical Education, as well as Hawaii Pacific University, with a degree in Business Administration.
