The Glendale College Vaqueros captured a hard-fought 57–49 overtime victory at Fullerton on November 1, in their first game of the season. The team showed balance on both ends of the floor and demonstrated resilience in extending the game into extra time and pulling out the win.

Shadel Ffrench led the way with a double-double, posting 17 points and an impressive 17 rebounds, including 12 defensive boards, showcasing dominance in the paint. Kaitlin Johnson added 10 points with 5 assists and 2 steals, helping orchestrate the offense and keep the Vaqueros ahead in crucial moments. Sammy Velasquez contributed 10 points, knocking down all 3 of her three-pointers, while Aniah Bradley chipped in 8 points and 6 rebounds to support Glendale's inside-out attack. Ella Costley added 8 points with an efficient 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.
