Vaqueros Fall on the Road at LA Valley

Glendale College traveled to LA Valley on October 31 and were defeated 9–0 in a tough road match. Despite the lopsided score, the Vaqueros showcased moments of effort and individual highlights.

Goalkeeper Liliana Reynoso made 8 saves, keeping Glendale in the match and demonstrating resilience against a relentless LA Valley offense. Lillian Yousefian and Zitlaly Hernando each recorded a shot on goal, showing offensive initiative even in a challenging matchup. The team totaled 4 shots and maintained composure on the field throughout the full 90 minutes.

Glendale's defense and midfield worked hard to slow down the scoring opportunities, with players like Michelle Saris, Natalie Ramirez, and Andrea Banuelos contributing in controlling possession and distribution. While LA Valley's offense, led by Hazel Caro and Jennifer Trejo, proved too strong, Glendale gained valuable experience and will look to build on their efforts in upcoming matches.
